The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has been ordered by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) to provide a schedule of power outages by April 2, 2024.
The decision was made in response to the continuous power outages that many Ghanaians are experiencing.
The PURC made this order under sections 3 and 24 of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission Act, 1997 (Act 538).
