MAX GPL: Kotoko will come to 2017 accident victims aid – Obeng Nyarko

Date:

The communication director of the BetPawa League defending champions, David Obeng Nyarko, has revealed on Max FM that going to the aid of the 2017 accident victims has been one of the biggest concerns for the management of the club since they assumed office in 2020.

Nana Obeng also disclosed discussions had been going on between management and the board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko regarding the victims of the unfortunate crash.

On Wednesday, July 12, 2017, the Kumasi Asante Kotoko team bus was involved in a fatal accident that led to the death of one with many others sustaining injuries.

The victims have since made known their disappointment with the lack of support and attention they have received from the club.

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Isaac Amoako, in an interview, revealed the assurances given him by the CEO of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah to come to the aid of the victims.
