Nunez scored his first goal in the 50th minute after Salah set him up, and he added a second goal less than ten minutes later after getting past Furth’s defense, cutting back, and rolling the ball into the bottom corner.
Before the hosts came back and stunned Liverpool with three goals in the span of nine minutes, that appeared to have solidified Liverpool’s position.
Lukas Petkov scored after Liverpool’s defenders lost focus, and Armindo Sieb, a former youth player for Bayern Munich, scored twice to put Furth ahead for the first time in the match.
In the 89th minute, Salah popped up to direct Nunez’s cross into an empty net and secure a draw.
