Evangelist Patricia, popularized by the public as Nana Agradaa, revealed that she had no desire to become a Christian.
She claims that although her husband had persuaded her that he would take charge of the church, he ultimately abandoned her. She shared the factors that drove her to become a Christian following her most recent argument with her spouse.
Agradaa said that it was supposed to be her husband, Pastor Oduro Koranteng, who should have been ‘behind the pulpit’ and not her. Agradaa went on to say that after changing her religion, her spouse ultimately abandoned her.
“I was a fetish priestess, doing my business in Sowutuom peacefully. I feared no one! One day, you came with your pastor, Joseph Kyereh, and asked me to switch to Christianity. The pastor said my husband is a pastor, so it won’t be nice for me to remain in that profession. He said I should become a pastor’s wife.
“My husband and these pastors forced me to quit my thriving fetish priest profession. Owusu Bempah was also part of this agenda. So, I built a church, switched religions, and even got baptized. I did all these because I thought you would lead the church and I would follow. But no! You left me in the mud. You were not ready. So, I woke up and took up the pastoral role and you totally gave up on me,” Agradaa retorted.
She continued by saying that was the source of all of her problems and the impetus behind her numerous social media outbursts.
“Out of pain and tears, I came out to speak for the first time and it has been that way since. This has been my headache because I had to figure everything out,” she said.
Nana Agradaa said goodbye to conventional religion in 2021 by, among other things, lighting her gods on fire and getting baptized. Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng assembled her deities at her Sowutuom residence and burnt them on fire in front of her pastor and a few locals.
Netizens anticipated that after that choice that she would gradually grow in her newfound Christian faith, but instead, things took a dramatic turn. Many people were shocked to learn that Nana Agradaa had started her own church and appointed herself as the senior pastor.
