Kumawoood actor Abraham Kofi Davies, known in the industry as Salinko, has disclosed that he was deceived by his ex-girlfriend to father a child who is not his.
According to him, he discovered the truth four months after the baby was delivered.
Salinko revealed this during a recent media interview when he opened up about how his ex-girlfriend deceived him into fathering a colleague’s child.
He explained that the dispute over the child’s paternity came about when a co-actor accused him of snatching his girlfriend and taking care of his biological child.
Salinko said he was in Accra when he received a call that someone was causing trouble at his residence in Kumasi, where his ex-girlfriend and the supposed child were staying.
To his dismay, the person who was accusing him was his colleague in the Kumawood industry.
Tackling the bizarre situation, Salinko ordered his ex-girlfriend to vacate his house, he also demanded explanations from his ex-girlfriend, who, in the presence of her family, confessed to double dating.
“After I sent her packing, she brought in her father to apologize on her behalf. I told them I was already attached to the child, so I would continue taking care until he grew and I could afford DNA. But deep down, we all know I am not the father,” he added.
The comic actor mentioned that he was initially excited about the news of being a father since they lost their first pregnancy, not knowing the lady was not truthful to him.
In light of this experience, Salinko and his current wife have decided to avoid having mutual friends and be cautious about entertaining new acquaintances.
