Antoine Griezmann struggled for goals while a Barcelona player, but he so nearly scored for Atletico Madrid in the first minute at Camp Nou, hitting the crossbar from outside the box with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen stranded.
‘He’s the best goalkeeper in the world,’ said Xavi praised his goalkeeper, Marc Ter Stegen after the game. ‘He commands his area, he makes the stops, he has been very decisive all season. We deserved to win the game by a greater margin.’
The Barcelona players celebrated at the end as if they league had been won. Perhaps they have, with big point gap.
