Seasoned actress and filmmaker Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe has been appointed as Ghana’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.
Her appointment was announced in a statement dated June 10, 2025 from the Office of the President, John Dramani Mahama and signed by Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama.
Kalsoume Sinare was included in the list of 15 new diplomatic nominations announced on June 21, 2025.
Known for her exceptional roles in movies, her versatility has made her a household name since the late 90s till date.
She has also starred in a number of television dramas and stage plays, drawing applause for her depth and talent.
Kalsoume’s new appointment drums home her hard work after more than two decades in the industry and is believed to bring to the table a historic achievement as an ambassador appointed from the Creative Art industry.
