JUST IN: Former Hearts of Oak SC Goalkeeper Joins Dreams FC

Iconic Accra Hearts of Oak SC goalkeeper Saani Mohammed has joined Dreams FC as their goalkeepers’ trainer.

The agile goalkeeper, who rose through the ranks of Dondoli based Rainbow Babies FC before joining Accra Hearts of Oak SC en route Power SC joined the Dawu based topflight side for an undisclosed amount.

He is set to lead the goalkeeping department of the Believe Boys in the Ghana Premier league.

Saani Mohammed , who rose to prominence across the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup, is now with the Ghana Police Service after quitting Association football.

He was part of the Black Stars squad that qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Known as Carbo back home in Wa in the Upper West Region, Saani Mohammed remains one of the most celebrated sporting figures in the region and Ghana as a whole.
