Exclusive images of John Dramani Mahama in the NDC campaign strongroom have emerged as results from the 2024 presidential election continue to trickle in.
The photos show the NDC Presidential Candidate calmly monitoring the vote tallying process, which also includes figures for his main rival, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the NPP, signaling a competitive race.
According to the NDC’s internal collation, the party claims a lead with 56.44% of votes, while Dr. Bawumia trails with 41.21%. These figures are based on data from the 37,072 polling stations nationwide.
Despite the NDC’s assertions, the Electoral Commission (EC) has yet to release official results, fueling national anxiety as Ghanaians await the official announcement.
Political leaders and civil society organizations have called for calm as supporters from both sides closely follow developments.
The release of Mr. Mahama’s strongroom images has sparked discussions about the transparency and preparedness of the major parties during this critical phase. With tensions rising, the nation’s focus remains on the EC to provide a decisive declaration that will shape Ghana’s political landscape for the next four years.
