The fast-rising Northern artiste Fancy Gadam says he is more talented than his co-northern rapper Maccasio.
According to him, his name has gained recognition in and outside Ghana and is now far advanced in the industry.
Fancy Gadam threw this shade when he was talking about industry “rivalry and controversy” during an exclusive interview on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Tuesday.
He explained that his beef with rapper Maccasio was not cooked to grab public attention, rather, he took advantage of the controversy to showcase his talent.
Fancy Gadam indicated that because he was more talented, he had gained recognition and was now being celebrated widely for his contributions to the Northern and Ghana entertainment scenes.
”I am far better than Maccasio because I am more talented. When controversies come, take advantage of it to prove to the world what you’re capable of,” he added.
The two Tamale-based musicians engaged in a feud at the early stage of their careers while they were proving themselves the best musician from the North.
Their relationship grew from bad to worst to an extent that it became a security threat to have both artistes share a stage as there was likely to be a commotion even among their fans.
Although Maccasio had indicated that they worked things out and were even planning to unite their fans through a concert, they still seem to be at loggerheads with each other as efforts to bring the two together is proving futile.
