Water Supply Interruption Notice (Weija Treatment Plant)

The Ghana Water Company has announced an emergency shutdown of the Weija Treatment Plant.

This necessary action would cause an interruption of water supply from 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Areas to be affected include Dansoman, Mamprobi, parts of Weija, Gbawe, Mallam, Anyaa, Kwashieman, and Ablekuma.

Darkuman, Kaneshie, Tesano, Odorkor, Sowutuom, Lapaz, North Industrial Area, parts of Achimota, and nearby communities would also be affected.

The Ghana Water Company have therefore assured of works currently being undertaken to their scheduled completion.
