‎Have a clear strategy before operating a business — Obeng Darko

Financial Expert Kwabena Obeng Darko has advised entrepreneurs to have a clear strategy and tactics before setting up a business.

‎According to him, that will enable them to maximize profit and gain the needed market for their products, goods or services.
‎
‎Speaking exclusively with Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, Darko stated that every business is being operated with the intentions of profit making, so therefore having a strategy and tactics to run it was prerequisite.
‎
‎”Selling requires skills and necessary strategy so that you can meet market needs and reach the target audience with the kind of business you’re doing. When there’s no market for what you’re selling nobody will patronize it,” he said.

‎To make profit from your business, Darko said you should first identify the needs of the target market to know the product, goods or services you will sell and render respectively.
‎
‎”Identify your customers and what you will sell to them and then know where the market will boom so that you set up the business at that place to make profit,” he added.
‎
‎A business without strategy, tactics and knowledge to operate it, Darko said would not yield profit and it would eventually collapse, hence his advice.
