Former Berekum Chelsea manager, Christopher Ennin, has been named the replacement for Nurudeen Amadu as head coach of FC Samartex.
The championship-winning coach, Amadu, parted ways with the defending league champions, FC Samartex, in December 2024 after a disappointing run in the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season.
Ennin left Eswatini Premier League club Moneni Pirates to join the Sameraboi-based side after leading them to fifth on the league standings, amassing 18 points in 11 games.
Ennin is aiming at improving Samartex, who are 13 points adrift off the top spot following 14 games into the season.
Samartex will be looking to kick off Ennin’s era with a statement-making win over Nations FC.
