Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) and a proud former school prefect of St. Augustine’s College (Class of 1985), has commended Max TV and Max FM for their outstanding weekly schools program.
The show, which airs every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, serves as a platform for schools to showcase their achievements, upcoming projects, and the distinguished personalities they have produced over the years. It allows alumni to celebrate their alma mater and reconnect with their school’s legacy.
After monitoring the show, hosted by Tony Bebli, Mr. Nunoo Mensah described it as “the biggest schools show” and encouraged all schools to take advantage of the opportunity to promote their institutions.
“This is an excellent initiative, and I believe every school should make it a point to be part of this program. It’s a fantastic way to highlight school pride, achievements, and contributions to society,” he remarked.
He also called on corporate sponsors to support the show, emphasizing its potential to enhance school branding, foster educational excellence, and strengthen alumni networks.
In closing, he expressed his hope that his alma mater, St. Augustine’s College (Apsunians), would make another appearance on the show, reinforcing his belief in its value and impact on Ghana’s educational and sporting landscape.
