The Black Stars have traveled to Kumasi to continue their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola.
The team commenced their training camp in Accra on Monday, with ten players taking part in the initial session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The players who participated in this first session were Frederick Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas Asante, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Tariq Lamptey, and Ibrahim Osman.
Following this session, Jerome Opoku, Mohammed Kudus, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Inaki Williams, Abdul Mumin, Alidu Seidu, and Majeed Ashimeru joined the Black Stars camp.
The remaining invited players are anticipated to arrive and join the squad in Kumasi. The team will conduct their first training sessions at the Baba Yara Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday as they prepare for Thursday’s match.
Post-game, the Black Stars will head to Berkane, Morocco, for their second Group F fixture against Niger on Monday, September 9, 2024.
