The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has hit out at the previous administrations for failing to improve football in Ghana, stating that football in Ghana was “badly damaged.”
Speaking during the President’s Address at the GFA 29th Ordinary Congress at the KNUST Great Hall in Kumasi, Kurt E. S. Okraku castigated the previous GFA administration for failing to protect and improve the once attractive and appealing brand of Ghana football.
“At the end of the day, we all feed on the same brand. The brand that supposedly has been destroyed. The brand we started a journey of resurrecting in the year 2019. When we assumed office in 2019, the Ghana Football brand was badly damaged,” Kurt Okraku exclaimed.
The FA President added, “I am not interested in destroying the brand you offered me the chance to rebuild. A brand that is currently attracting a minimum of 25 partners from the private sector.”
Kurt Okraku advised his competitors to rather be interested in building the Ghana Football brand if they truly care for it, rather than destroying it through dubious acts and false propaganda.
