Ghana’s U17 coach Frimpong Manso and his technical team will begin scouting in the Brong Ahafo Region on Tuesday, February 18.
They will be in Sunyani from February 18-20 before moving on to the Northern, Upper East, and Upper West regions to complete their scouting in the North.
The exercise will assess players born after January 1, 2009, in these regions, offering them the chance to join the Black Starlets squad. The team is collaborating with Regional Football Associations, local clubs, colts teams, and schools to ensure all promising players are scouted.
Regional scouting teams will submit lists of talented players to the regional chairman, who will forward them to the GFA for further consideration. This comprehensive approach aims to identify top regional talent for the youth national team.
