We begin tonight’s episode with Hugo and Cordelia organizing and trying to get rid of some documents, Andeng brings Gwen there she tells Cordelia to stop all this and not pretend all is well because she’s scared for her dad and Cordelia tells her to not worry because Ulysses will be out soon and she tells her to stop because she knows the truth and she doesn’t want to spend her life visiting them in jail, Cordelia assures her about their love for her.
Eugene tells the chief to not consider Ulysses offer because he’s planning something and chief said they don’t want to miss a small chance of capturing the real leader of the syndicate but Eugene disagrees saying he knows Ulysses well and he’s just buying some time so they should focus on rather gathering evidence against him but the chief said they should listen to him at least and see whether he’s telling the truth.
Leo calls up some to organize some documents regarding their properties, Gwen comes there telling him she knows everything and how they use “for keeps” to victimize women and Leo gets shocked as Gwen tells him she found it all on her own, she ask Leo to think because what if she became a victim too and Cordelia is adamant but he should listen to her and stop running the syndicate and Leo said he has plans for a legitimate business now since he already quit Ulysses group as they hug Leo tells himself it isn’t good at all since Gwen knows about for keeps so they need to cut ties with the website before the police link them to it.
The police visit Cordelia with a warrant to search the mansion and she agrees to it.
Leo meets up with the men telling them his father’s situation is by no means permanent but while he isn’t there he asks him to take on the group as an interim boss so they will stop their current operation but gives the men 200,000 each to lay low so once the heat from the police cools off they can resume their operations but Adolfo tells him he’s breaking up the group and Leo ask him to trust him and follow his orders because soon enough he will be swimming in cash.
Leo meets up with Grace telling her he quit the syndicate just for her and now that Ulysses is in prison if he forces him to take over still he won’t do it and he has no control over him so what he wants is to start a new life with her in it and what happened was his fault but he never stopped loving her because she’s the only good thing in his life.
Gwen visits Ulysses in prison, he tells her to not worry about him because he will get out soon and Gwen tells him it’s terrible to see him there.
Leo tells Grace his world crushed the first time they broke up and he was lost that’s why he gave in to Melissa and they weren’t together when he made that mistake and he won’t turn his back on his responsibility to the child but he doesn’t love Melissa and no matter what he will be there for his child.
Ulysses tells Gwen the accusation against him are not true and it’s only a lie so it won’t be long before he gets out and Gwen said he runs the human trafficking syndicate and there won’t let him out and Ulysses tells her to not believe all she hears so she should trust her family and Gwen she already found out the truth.
Leo begs her to forgive him and she’s the only reason he changed and begs her to let him fix things between them and start all over again so Grace agrees and forgives him professing her love for him.
Joan goes with Jc to the police to surrender he said he said he has faith the law will prove him innocent and Joan offers her support. Jc surrenders himself.
Ulysses seems happy to see Jc in jail welcoming him to the club whiles laughing. Jc is locked in the cell next to Ulysses as Ulysses tells him that his father sent him to jail himself and he has to be ashamed but Jc said following the law isn’t something shameful and he served him Justice in the same way that he did it to a scum like him as everyone is equal in Eugene eyes and Ulysses teases him that he sounds like a politician and he has grown arrogant is like he doesn’t know him anymore and if he’s sure they will let him off the hook and if he thinks he won’t stay in jail because he’s the son of a holy cop and they both criminals in there so they both have the same rights.
Jc said he’s nothing like him and he knows for sure that he will go free soon enough because he’s innocent but he will die in a prison cell because of all his crimes and he will loss all his money, his friends and his family and the power he craves will be taken from him and he will rot in jail and he will also die all alone.
Leo holds a video call with their board members he tells them he is the representative of Ulysses and they demand for the truth and Leo said he’s taking over the operations and Ulysses got a good lawyer so he will be out in no time. They ask about Deniero and Leo said they haven’t heard from him in a while so they tell Leo to inform them if he hears from Deniero.
Eugene and Joan visit Jc in jail asking if he’s okay and if Ulysses is bothering him and he said he’s okay since he has the boss’s approval to do this and the truth will come out soon and that he has surrendered his gun so they will do a full ballistic to determine the bullet that killed Dante and Eugene said after they search the Balthazar’s mansion they didn’t find anything but will do it more thoroughly again.
Joan ask that leo already admitted leaking the video and Jc said it isn’t considered a crime and he’s very sure Leo isn’t willing to help him and Joan ask if there’s a way to change Aris and Eugene said he needs to figure it on his own.
Jc said he believes they’re Leo’s weakness since they his true family and Joan blames herself for selling him off and if he’s now the leader of the syndicate then Leo wants to prove himself to Ulysses so they’ve completely lost Aris and Eugene said there’s still some good in him so he won’t stop until he makes that person come out.
Eugene and his officers go through the Balthazar’s mansion for evidence, Eugene said they should take all documents that can be used as evidence. Eugene finds a flash drive that contains some documents and it’s a video of Jc shooting this update is written by Blasters series and world of Telenovelas follow us for more Dante with a time stamp and unedited, Eugene said it was the same night they found Dante so the footage will prove Jc was falsely accused of killing Dante.
The chief decides to use the evidence to help Jc so they need his gun to do a ballistic on it.
Ulysses gives one of the prisoners in Jc’s cell a note as he calls out Jc saying he thinks no one will bother him but he’s wrong because it’s not his conscience he has to bother about but his too, as the guys attack Jc but he beats them up.
Jc calls Ulysses a bastard and that won’t work on him but Ulysses said he’s just lucky this time but next time things will be different.
At the mansion, Cordelia gets angry about losing their wealth as their assets are frozen, Hugo tries to explain to her about what it means, Leo gets to know too and tells Cordelia they’ve a vault of money but only Ulysses has access to that and he ask her to come down since they’ve a lot of money starched away and those monies are not documented so the authorities can’t trace it.
Jc holds a meeting with his family, Tonyin, Dairus and boss marshal. Eugene gives him the news about finding the original video of him shooting Dante and the boss said he’s a free man now since he has been proven of not been a traitor to the NBI and everyone is happy for him as he thanks them.
Leo gives Cordelia some cash he withdrew and she thanks him, Leo also said they haven’t found a way to get their frozen money back yet because it will take a long and tough process to get it back but their money is still intact so he will provide for them now and Cordelia said it pains her that their enemies are pulling ahead and Jc has been acquitted of Dante’s murder and he got his freedom at the expense of theirs.
Jc is happy he’s free, thanking his parents and Eugene said he’s proud of him so he should continue been honest and he’s so proud to be his father.
Cordelia said Jc was raised by Eugene that’s why he’s cunning and Leo said no agents have come for them yet and that means Jc is yet to tip them off to the authorities and they try to figure out why Jc hasn’t reported them both yet. Cordelia said that’s why they need to be one step ahead so he shouldn’t give them any opportunity to try and manipulate him and Leo said that will never happen because this time around they will be on the offensive and no matter what they plan they will be ready.
Jc is sworn in as an agent again by chief Marshal and he’s congratulated by his friends.
The NBI chief apologizes to Jc for not backing him up when he truly needed it the most but on behalf of the NBI they happy to welcome him back but JC said he still has to finish his job with Chief Marshal because taking down Ulysses syndicate is his priority and the chief said he understands because is highly time those criminals pay and is taken off the streets.
Chief Marshall welcomes Jc to her team and he promises to see the mission through to the end. She also tells them about the deal the police is about to have with Ulysses for Deniero and Jc said it’s impossible because Deniero will not allow himself to be seen in the country knowing well Ulysses is in prison.
Chief marshal said she assigned Dairus to another city and Dairus said he will try and find out from places they hold their meetings so Jc should confirm if Leo is still running the syndicate and Chief marshal said they want Leo to think the law isn’t after him because she’s certain he took his over the syndicate after Ulysses was jailed so he will report to Deniero so they will let Leo lead them to where Deniero is. Tonyin agrees to help to so they all agree to take them down.
Jc moves back home and he tells Eugene he already gave his report and details of when he was still in the syndicate to the NBI so Eugene ask if he included Leo and Jc said yes they know about him but they haven’t arrested yet because they believe he’s now running the syndicate and he will led them to Deniero and Leo will be arrested after Deniero and Eugene feels a little sad so Jc said they should keep it from Joan because she will do everything to protect Leo even if it’s against the law and Eugene hopes she understands.
Jc meets up with Melissa to thank her for helping him escape from Leo’s clutches and she denies it but Jc said he recognized her voice and he just wants her to know he owes her his life and thanks her, Melissa said what matters is he got away. He also begs Melissa to stay away from the Balthazar’s and she said she can’t since her baby is Leo’s so Jc asked if Leo is really the father because something happened between them too and Melissa feels uneasy reaffirming Leo is her baby daddy.
Ulysses gets to know Jc was released and asked how as he doesn’t seem to like it.
Grace is happy Jc is back and acquitted and he said he’s happy too because he will get to see her always, Grace tells him about forgiving Leo and they back together and Jc just looks on at her shocked. Grace also said Leo has quit the syndicate and hopes Jc gives him a chance since they brother and he said he’s happy for her.
Leo arrives too seeing them together, Jc said he will keep going as long as he has his parents and her, we ended as an angry Leo approaches them…
