Renowned actress Gloria Sarfo has revealed that she has not been involved in any scandal within the industry due to self-consciousness.
According to her, her parents gave her good counselling and a better moral upbringing, a virtue she upheld even in her adulthood.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Tuesday, Gloria Sarfo indicated that all the advice she gained from her parents served as a guide light in her career.
”Everything was about my upbringing. My father was a disciplinarian; he was very strict, so you can’t be involved in any scandal to taint the family’s name. You must do everything accordingly at the sight of my father, so I believe that helped me,” she said.
Gloria Safo maintained that the godly principles and virtues her mother instilled in her also became a stepping stone in shaping her life for the good.
”Also, the fear of God my mother instilled in me played a vital role. You should be happy for your friend, help your neighbour in times of need, be kind to people, be happy for others’ progress, and pray to God. All these reminded me of who I am; thus, even if I am on the verge of falling into anything that might lead to a scandal, those words re-echo to put me on my toes,” she added.
The actress had starred in many movies and became widely known as Nana Ama due to her role in a local teleseries, “Efie Wura”.
