Northern rising Star Fancy Gadam has described as embarrassing how some unscrupulous ethnicities are engaging in violence to project the entire Northern region as bad.
According to him, the Northerners are accommodative, receptive, and welcoming, hence are not as violent as painted to be.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the Max Morning Show on Tuesday to announce his concert, which is coming on November 29, 2025, at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Fancy Gadam stated that the Northerners are peaceful people, but there were some individuals who were engaging in conflict of interest.
”Sometimes it’s embarrassing because a lot of people see the North as violent people, but when you visit Tamale, you would love not to go anywhere again because Tamale people are very welcoming.”
”We love strangers. It’s only in Tamale when you come a landlord will leave his bed for you and sleep outside. But the conflict there, is about two parties who have an interest,” he explained.
Fancy Gadam stated that those two ethnicities were the ones destroying the good name of the people in the North and expressed an urgent need for the leaders at the place to tackle the matter to bring that dispute to an end.
”We pray that one day this conflict will settle. We pray that the elderly people will talk to the young ones not to engage in the conflict, knowing they are the future leaders and the pride of the North, and their lives matters in situations like this,” he added.
