Elmina Sharks FC to Name Yaw Acheampong as Head Coach

Access Bank Division club Elmina Sharks FC are set to name Joachim Yaw Acheampong as new head coach.

The former Ghana international’s return to the coast club is a done deal, subject to an official confirmation.

Yaw Acheampong, 51, mutually parted ways with Legon Cities (Eleven Wonders) during the latter stages of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The former Real Sociedad player has had coaching stints at other clubs such as Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars, Elmina Sharks, and Ashanti Gold.
