Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs head coach John Aduafu has declared his side fully prepared to compete against any opposition and secure the results needed to push for promotion.

Speaking after an impressive opening-game performance, the coach said the result had given clear indications that the team is on course to win matches and qualify for the Ghana Premier League.

“The impression is that we are ready to face any team, deliver, and get every result we want,” Aduafu stated. “When you get an opening game like that and the result impresses you, it gives every indication that the road is now clear and we are on course to win and qualify to the Premier League.”

Aduafu expressed confidence in the existing core of the squad, noting that the players had already signalled their readiness. He highlighted recent reinforcements, including new centre-back Joseph Mensah and Kelvin Osei, whom he brought in and who has already found the net.

The coach outlined a clear dual objective for the campaign: to reach the final and win the tournament, while using the competition as a platform to build the morale and momentum required for promotion from Division One.

“This tournament gives us the morale to qualify from Division One to the Premier Division,” he said. “The people of Cape Coast deserve a Premier League team, so we are trying to do everything possible to return the Premier League back to Cape Coast.”
