Veteran highlife singer, Dada KD says he is no longer interested in politics and wants to shy away from anything that will harbor trouble for him.
The musician who is known for his political affiliation with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) now said he had washed his hands from any subject linked to politics.
He disclosed his decision in a media interview where he said he was not even a bonafide party member of the NPP.
“The strength to talk about these things is gone. I’ve reached a point where I’m just doing what I can, and when my time comes, I’ll go peacefully. If I dwell too much on political issues, I might end up drinking myself into trouble,” he said.
Dada KD also claimed that he never received anything from the erstwhile administration for it to affect his judgement on political matters.
“I’ve never received anything from the party, but no matter the situation, we’ve remained loyal,” he added.
