BROTHERS: Tonight (Tuesday 21st) On Episode 67

Date:

Glen cautions her family to tread carefully lest the riding in tandem group target them as well. Nanding teases her with the fact that Cardo’s jeep has no seatbelt. Meanwhile, Joaquin the jackass brings Junior to see Flora at the hospital. He then offers to help out Cardo provided he tells him everything he knows about Lorenz.

Cardo is hellbent on annihilating the riding in tandem syndicate. Delfin decides to delegate some trusted men to protect their family. Tomas reveals to Carmen that Joaquin and his family know all about “the business”. He then taunts her over how Joaquin will always choose his own family, even over her.

“Do you love him enough to forget the nature of the business I’m in?”

“I don’t love your son!” Carmen spits. “After finding out the truth, I swear I will never love that son of yours. You’re all going to pay for the crimes you committed.”

Having her restraints undone, Carmen stabs Tomas with a makeshift weapon and tries to provoke him some more. As she screams her lungs out, Tomas walks out gently. Once home, he shows the video of Carmen’s outbursts to his wife. Verna conceals it upon Joaquin’s arrival.

While Lorenz and Charlie are at each other’s throats at their hood, Tomas reveals to Joaquin the truth about Carmen’s discoveries. As Joaquin makes a fool of himself, Tomas shows him the video where Carmen vows to never love him.

“If I choose to spare Carmen’s life,” Tomas begins. “She’s going to tell Cardo everything she knows. What about our family? What about Rachel?”

In an attempt to get back at Lorenz, Charlie calls Cardo with Flora’s phone and tips him off about their location. A moment later, Cardo arrives with Benny at the area and soon enough, a gun battle ensues. The scumbags flee after they suffer some casualties, and Benny grabs a gun and begins to show off.

“Chief, where are those guys?”

“They got away.”

Benny aims. “Those cowards wouldn’t have stood a chance against me.”

Cardo snatches the gun. “If you got to them then you’d be dead by now. You’re holding the gun wrong… they’re all going to get what’s coming to them.”

While the Lightning Troop prepare for an all-out showdown, Cardo informs his grandma and family of the incident earlier. Meanwhile, Tomas is still fooling Junior with Carmen’s phone as she looks on. Concurrently, Joaquin is pissed off and throwing a tantrum back home, demanding to see his dearest wife.

Elmo goes out with Onyok, who wanders off and soon gets bullied by some area boys for his candies. Onyok is on the brink of tears. “You think you’re so tough?” he taunts the leader. “Wait until Cardo hears about this!”

“I don’t know who you’re talking about and I’m not scared of him either. Now get out of here!”

Arriving home, Onyok wails about his plight. Cardo goes with him to confront the boys and they start playing tough until he mentions that he’s a cop. The boys apologize profusely.

“Don’t apologize to me,” Cardo states. “Say sorry to the one you bullied.”

“Onyok, I’m sorry,” the leader says.

“It’s okay,” Onyok replies.

“Hey, officer, can you at least tell me your name?”

“I’m SP01 Cardo Delisay.”

“My name is Makmak, sir.”

The CIDG sets out to apprehend Lorenz Gabriel and the motorcycle group who took him in. Meanwhile at Barangay 628, Makmak shows up. Onyok runs off to Flora and points him out as the one who bullied him. Flora lectures him. Makmak gives Onyok a peace offering. And Cardo too. Flora then treats him to some food.

Carmen is moping around in her cell and wondering whether Tomas’ syndicate is linked to the group that killed Ardo. Later that night, the Lightning Troop storm Barangay 628 and hit Cardo’s home with a rain of gunfire. While Flora, and the others crawl to safety, Cardo singlehandedly fights off the murderous scumbags and they soon flee like endangered Christmas chickens.

As the police salvage the situation, Flora decides to move into her brother’s house with everyone for their own safety. Meanwhile, Joaquin eventually gives in into his dad’s wishes. He’s now all for the “kill Carmen to protect our family” movement.

While Charlie lies low at an associate’s base, thinking of getting Banjo back on his side and making Lorenz pay, Delfin and Cardo plan to use him to their advantage by giving him police protection. Meanwhile, Tomas and Verna discuss about their son’s and Carmen’s situation.

“What about Carmen’s family?” Verna reasons. “Do you think that they’ll forget about her just like that? They’re gonna try to find Carmen. And Cardo will try too. And he’s never going to stop until he uncovers what really happened.”

“We’re not going to be blamed for Carmen’s unfortunate and untimely death,” Tomas declares. “That’s because somebody else will be taking the fall for us.”
