“Someone got away. I didn’t see his face because of all the smoke but I have a strong feeling that this particular person is their main contact here in the Philippines.”
The highway patrol team spots Nelson Wong’s van and reports back to CIDG headquarters. Cardo leaves home for the mission. Meanwhile at the lab, Tomas is eagerly waiting to finish off his traitorous clients. Once the Hong Kong drug lords arrive with their men, Tomas goes into hiding with his goons, leaving the chemist to keep on with their act.
Carreon sends backup for Cardo. At the lab, Tomas stealthily sets up bombs as the chemist demonstrates to Chen Lao and Nelson Wong the formula for white magic. Concurrently, the police stake out the area. Cardo soon arrives, and Joaquin seems like he’s about to have a heart attack.
Speaking of heart attack, Chris the chemist is a nervous wreck in his act. Tomas cocks his gun. Outside, Delfin has the entire team wait for more backup. With a pair of binoculars, Cardo takes note of the goons inside. The expression on his face says, “No sweat. I can kill you all in 30 seconds”. As expected, Cardo disobeys orders and saunters into his Jeep. He speeds toward the criminals, leaving Delfin with no other choice than to charge the rest of the officers on.
While Cardo does a drive-by and sends some number of scumbags to meet their Maker, Tomas and his goons begin their attack on Chen Lao and Nelson Wong. Chris the chemist ends up as collateral damage. The other officers join the mix as Tomas beats the hell out of Lao. Cardo finishes off Nelson Wong in grand style, just as Tomas guns down Lao.
Tomas towers over Chen Lao menacingly. “Who do you think you are?” he taunts, kicking him just because he can. “A king?! Nobody steals from me!”
In a comical manner, Tomas shoots Lao again. Coming upon the scene, Cardo forces him to drop his weapon. Lao takes advantage of the distraction and shoots Tomas in the leg. He then turns to Cardo, who rewards him with a flurry of bullets. Tomas slips into his car as Cardo takes out some more goons. “Farewell, Dalisay,” he states before pressing the detonator.
Cardo escapes in an iconic fashion as the place blows up. He looks on as Tomas speeds off. The rest of the team regroup outside. Soon enough, Tomas has the bullet removed from his leg. Meanwhile, Cardo arrives home, upset. Flora asks him about it.

“Someone got away,” Cardo reveals. “We all suspect he’s the leader of the syndicate here in the Philippines.”
Jerome comes to pick up Glen for work. He rambles some nonsense about not being able to give up pursing her. “Cause to me, you’re like a criminal.”
“A criminal?” Glen asks in disbelief.
“Cause I can’t let you go.”
Glen seems to get the drift. “That was lame, sir.”
“Hop in before I arrest you.”
Analynne is emotional and excited with the prospect of being freed soon. Meanwhile, the CIDG celebrate their victory over the drug syndicate. Cardo brings up the guy who had gotten away. “I didn’t see his face because of all the smoke but I have a strong feeling that this particular person is their main contact here in the Philippines.” Joaquin tries his best to look stupidly dumb.
Cardo informs Martha (yeah she’s still alive) that there’s no need for her to be scared any longer because her self-proclaimed savior is now dead, adding that Analynne would soon be freed. Now all that’s left is to change her identity. Martha asks Cardo to deliver a letter to Analynne. Meanwhile, Don Emilio is barking at Tomas on account of last night’s incident. He vows to take away from him the leadership of their group.
Rachel asks her dad about his leg injury and he claims that he had gotten into a car accident. Verna, who won’t be fooled later mocks him with how Cardo had almost caught him. Despite the interferences of Joaquin the jackass, Cardo is deadset on hunting down the ringleader of the drug syndicate. His teammates commend him.
Cardo is delighted to see Analynne reunite with her family. Analynne thanks him for all his help, and he hands over to her Martha’s letter. Once home, she reads the heartfelt apology letter of her once-best-friend who hopes she would have been forgiven if they ever cross paths in the future.
At City Hall, Flora has a meeting with her fellow officials over the recent ordinance and juvenile curfew in their barangay. Team Jerome find some men drinking publicly. The drunks talk smack and run off after mocking the officers, and they chase after them. What a bunch of asses.
Speaking of asses, Joaquin the jackass has a talk with Cardo and manages to guilt-trip him over him and his grandpa planning things behind the teams’ back. Unfortunately, Cardo apologizes to the swine.
Onyok takes the winning shot for his basketball team in school. Once home, Flora informs the kids about the ongoing juvenile curfew. Cardo drums in that any kid found outside during the time would be arrested by the neighborhood watch. Meanwhile, a sniper sets up his equipment. The episode ends as he aims at his target.
