Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur, Sarkodie, known privately as Michael Owusu Addo surprised patrons by making an appearance at the Ghana Professional Boxing League- Fight Night 4 event happening at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Speaking to Yaw Ampofo Ankrah in an interview at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Sarkodie cheekily threw down the gauntlet to the King of African Dancehall, Shatta Wale, for a showdown at the Arena: “You can organize a bout for Shatta Wale and I.”
The self-acclaimed ‘best’ rapper in Africa, Sarkodie, is an ardent boxing fan. He recently revealed his admiration for UK-based Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah aka Freezy MacBones, “Just seen some clips of this champ and had to look him up … Beast,” he tweeeted.
