Highlife musician Bisa Kdei has expressed concern about the selfishness exhibited by the leaders of the country, which has crippled economic growth.
He said Ghana would have seen economic transformation if the leaders had come up with transformational policies targeting ordinary Ghanaians.
Bisa Kdei said this in a recent media interview while tackling the need for change in attitude and approach in handling the country.
“The people at the top—I don’t know if they don’t think about the masses or if there’s something wrong with the economy itself.”
“But for me personally, I think that it’s a one-man chop thing. Because if you really should think about the country, there are so many things we could change,” he noted.
Bisa Kdei further urged Ghanaians to vote “wisely” in the upcoming general elections and warned Ghanaians against the mouth-watering promises that were being made by the politicians.
“Some of the things that I hear from the politicians, it’s just sad. People make promises, but at the end of the day, the delivery becomes a problem. Ghanaians should choose wisely,” he added.
