The general manager of former Ghana Premier League champions Aduana FC, Takyi Arhin, has launched an unwaiving defence of Kurt Okraku.
Kurt Okraku, president of the Ghana Football Association, has become very unpopular among many football fans and some pundits.
With the current disappointing form of the Black Stars of Ghana, reactions following their 4-2 home defeat to the minnows, the Gambia, clearly show a loss of confidence in him.
Football administrators and club managers, unlike those calling for the head of Mr Okraku, are solidifying their immense love for him.
“As football clubs and football administrators, we’re so much in love with Kurt Okraku for everything he’s doing for us,” Mr Arhin said in an interview with Sporty FM sighted by Max Online.
According to the experienced football administrator, Mr Okraku, provision of support, including logistics, and the GHC 1 million from the government have helped clubs greatly.
“Who thought that we’d wake up one morning and get GHC1 million? Division One clubs would have GHC120,000, boots, footballs, jerseys and free fuel coupons,” he added.
