The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially made an official request to CAF for additional tickets for Ghanaian fans.
Hundreds of Ghanaian fans have arrived in Bouake for the Black Stars’ crunch encounter with the home side, the Ivory Coast.
The Black Stars begin their AFCON 2027 qualifying campaign against the Elephants of Ivory Coast on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The GFA’s request comes as a result of the fans’ inability to secure tickets to watch the game live at the Stade de la Paix.
The GFA realised that the allocated tickets, after a meeting with the Match Officials wouldn’t be enough, hence the need for more.
