Ghana’s vice captain Thomas Partey has made his debut for Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab.
The Ghanaian international, who had been without a club since leaving Villarreal at the end of the 2025/26 season, joined the Saudi club.
He featured for 32 minutes for Al Shabab in their goalless draw with Al Khaleej a day after finalising his move to Riyadh.
With just two games into the new season, Al Shabab are 13th on the Saudi Pro League standings with a single point.
Partey will be hoping life in the oil-rich country reignites a superb form amidst an ongoing legal battle in the United Kingdom.
