Major League Soccer (MLS) league leaders Nashville SC’s sparkling form continues in a five goals thriller against Columbus Crew in their matchday twenty-one encounter.
Back home from their win on the road on matchday (19), the league leaders had to dig deep on matchday twenty to beat a stubborn Columbus Crew side by 3-2 scoreline in a blockbuster showdown.
Striker Hanny Mukhtar broke the deadlock on the 27th minute to give the home side the lead heading into the halftime break.
Back from the recess, the game exploded into life as Mohammed Farsi scored to level the scores for Columbus Crew on the 58th minute .
With that goal, the away side stepped up the tempo of the game and scored their second to take the lead ten minutes later through midfielder Andre Gomes.
With the away side in the lead, Nashville SC showed complete resilience and character as to why they are the league leaders as they dug deep into stoppage time to produce one of the greatest comeback’s in their history and Major League Soccer when they scored two late goals on the 110th and 115th minutes through strikers Reed Baker and Andy Najar to win the game in a dramatic fashion.
That victory showed everyone why they are the league leaders.
