I am ready for England— Partey

Date:

Thomas Partey has declared himself ready with the Black Stars for the highly anticipated showdown against England at the 2026 World Cup.

After missing Ghana’s opening win over Panama (1-0) due to immigration issues, Partey insists he has put that episode behind him and is now fully focused on the pitch.

“Things happen in football that you simply can’t control. But today, I feel good and ready to play,” he said to reporters.

The former Arsenal player admitted the last few days had been tough, but he believes he has regained his full focus.

“It’s all mental. You have to get through these moments and make the most of what your body can give,” he continued.
