With Morocco set to once again host another major African tournament, the Africa Cup of Nations (U17 AFCON), we bring you three teenagers to watch out for.
Gavi Robinho (Ghana)
The young Hakla FC striker is making waves in the Access Bank Division One League.
He’ll be closely watched by scouts from several European clubs who are already eyeing him for a potential move once he comes of age.
Gavi Robinho is already drawing comparisons to some of Ghana’s football legends.
Saïd Remadnia (Tunisia)
A pure product of the Olympique de Marseille academy, the fleet-footed Tunisian winger is already being touted as one of the best of his generation.
A former youth international with both France and Algeria, Remadnia recently opted to represent the Carthage Eagles at the senior level.
This season, he has made 23 appearances across all youth competitions for OM, notching up 6 goals and a single assist.
Yanis Messaoudi (Algeria)
The AC Milan defender is also regarded as one of the standout players of his age group, thanks to his exceptional skills and sharp tactical awareness.
Signed last summer from Racing Paris Football, he quickly made his mark at the Lombard club, even scoring in a match against Sudtirol.
According to several sources, he’s expected to be promoted to the U19 squad starting next season.
