The group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations wrapped up on Tuesday night, with Tunisia and Tanzania booking their tickets from Group C.
Both teams secured their spots in the round of 16 after a 1-1 draw at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on the final day of the opening round.
In total, sixteen teams continue their quest in this 35th edition of the AFCON hosted by Morocco. The qualifiers are: Tunisia, Cameroon, Morocco, Benin, Nigeria, Sudan, Algeria, Mozambique, Egypt, Burkina Faso, Senegal, South Africa, Mali, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
On the other hand, eight teams were eliminated from the tournament at the group stage: Gabon, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Comoros, Botswana, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, and Zambia.
