Renowned gospel singer, Selina Boateng has urged upcoming musicians to be diligent, God fearing and have patience.
According to her, those three keys could make them excel in the industry.
Speaking in an interview with Max Drive, Selina Boateng stated that having a waiting spirit was a moment in life that the person would use to learn and pass through all the divine stages before blossoming.
“You need to be diligent in the sense that you have to be careful with your life. If God has given you a gift, you need to learn and grow the talent and know the platforms that you will exhibit the singing talent on. It’s not every platform that you ought to sing on, so in a nutshell, every divine gift needs a learning experience to back it,” she explained.
Selina further indicated that a singer should also be God-fearing, humble and know much about God before gaining the requisite lyrics to sing.
That, she noted, would give them a prowess which would make their songs stand out and touch hearts whenever people listen to them.
