Gyakye Quayson, 3 others to be vetted for deputy ministerial positions

The Appointments Committee will, on Friday, July 25, 2025, vet the remaining nominated deputy ministers at Parliament House.

President John Mahama made the nominations in accordance with Articles 78(1) and 79(1) of the 1992 Constitution.

The remaining nominees are Dorcas Affo-Toffey (Deputy Minister of Transport), James Gyakye Quayson (Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs), Mohammed Adam Sukparu (Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations), and Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah (Deputy Minister of Health).

This session will mark the final round of deputy ministerial vetting since President John Dramani Mahama took office on January 7, 2025.
