Toyota Cup: Kotoko tackles Kaizer Chiefs

Asante Kotoko are set to embark on a significant footballing journey to South Africa in a clash with South African giant Kaizer Chiefs.

The two household names in African football will lock horns for the 2025 Toyota Cup, which aims at strengthening ties between both clubs and promoting African unity through football.

Sarfo Duku Esq., Kotoko’s communication director, revealed the team will leave Ghana for South Africa on 22 July with a 45-man contingent and return on 29 July.

The match is part of their preparations for the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup, where both teams will also be participating.
