The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Adukwei Mensa, is expected to appear in Parliament on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Mrs Mensa will come before the Committee of the Whole at the August House to respond to an inquiry by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor.
Hon. Dafeamekpor’s inquiry would be about why the Ablekuma North parliamentary results have not been declared since the December 7 elections in 2024.
Also, she would be compelled to respond if the commission had awarded any contract pertaining to the printing and supply of ballot papers for the general elections.
