Kojo Cue battled mental issues after hitting the limelight

Date:

Renowned rapper Kojo Cue says he suffered mental challenges during the peak of his career, compelling him to bow out.

‎According to him, he even exited social media to help in his healing process.

‎Kojo Cue said this during a recent media interview where he said he officially quit the industry in 2021 when he was battling mental issues.

‎“From the end of 2021, I stopped making music. For almost two years I stopped making music totally. I even gifted my studio equipment.”

‎“It was more of my personal life. Some things happened from 2020 and dealing with it did not go how I wanted. My mind and focus were not on music. So that was what caused me to stop and focus on something different.”

‎“Mental health was the major reason I had to stop to be able to deal with some stuff going on in my mind,” he said.

‎Though he relaxed with his music, Kojo Cue collaborated with some friends to establish a music marketing company and has currently returned to the industry with a new track.
