Lions to improve goal-scoring abilities against Medeama

Date:

The head coach of Heart of Lions, Bashiru Hayford laments his team’s struggle of being clinical in front of goal.

Heart of Lions are set to take on Medeama Sporting Club in matchday 22 outstanding fixture in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Wednesday, April 16.

Ahead of the game, Coach Hayford charged his players to improve on their scoring ability against the high-scoring Medeama side.

“We have outplayed all teams but we struggle to win. We want to improve on our scoring ability so far we can put one or two goals past them (Medeama). So that is what we are going to do but we are not afraid at all though they are a good team,” said Coach Bashiru.

Lions are fifth on the Ghana Premier League standings after winning once in their last five games.
