Faith Ladies to face Jonina Ladies in Women’s FA Cup final

Date:

Faith Ladies stunned current holders of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, Hasaacas Ladies, to book a place in the final of the 2024-45 Women’s FA Cup.

The monopoly of Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies in the FA Cup appears broken, as a new team is set to win this season’s competition after Army Ladies’ triumph last season.

Dorcas Okyere scored the winning goal of the game in the 69th minute at the McDan Sports Complex to advance the Dansoman-based team to the final to face the impressive Jonina Ladies.

Jonina Ladies made light work of Women’s Division One League team Rootz Sistaz to set up an exciting final against Faith Ladies.

Matilda Fodu and Joyce Atimbila both bagged a brace each, with Eva Amoako pulling one back for Rootz Sistaz.

The Ghana Football Association would soon communicate the date, time, and venue of the final.
