JUST IN: Nigerian Actress Ini Edo Mourns the Loss of Her Father

Date:

Nollywood actress Ini Edo has announced the passing of her father, whom she described as her “greatest cheerleader” and “first love.”

In an emotional post on Facebook, the actress did not shy from expressing her painstaking loss, stating that the heavens have gained an angel.

“This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first Love. The Heavens have gained an Angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on, King,” she wrote.

Rumours of her father’s death started three weeks ago when she shared an image of a blazing candle with the cryptic caption, “Where do broken hearts go?” However, at the time, she had not confirmed the speculations.

Following her confirmation, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers have flooded her social media pages with messages of condolences and support during this difficult time.
