With the 2024–25 season approaching, Accra Hearts of Oak has eleven players on the team that they plan to release.
In an interview last week, Rainbow’s head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, said his team would not imitate rival Asante Kotoko’s practice of firing players in large numbers.
But Max Online has received reliable information indicating Hearts of Oak plans to release eleven players.
Among the eleven players listed to depart the club are captain Kofi Agbesimah, Richmond Ayi, Richard Attah, Enock Asubonteng, Seidu Suraj, Liventius Arthur, Issah Kucka, and Thomas Winimi.
Kofi Agbesimah, who transferred from Bechem United to the club last year, was reportedly driven out of the Pobiman training field because he was requesting a contract termination.
