Former Black Stars assistant coach, George Boateng has been appointed first team coach of English Football League Championship side Coventry City.
The 48-year-old former Dutch international is set to join the backroom staff of manager, Mark Robins, alongside Rhys Carr.
Boateng, who was part of Otto Addo’s technical staff before Chris Hughton’s at the Black Stars, made a return to his former club after “impressing in the recruitment process.”
After finishing outside the playoff places in the 2023–24 Championship season, the Sky Blues are determined to make a long-awaited return to the English Premier League.
