#MaxEntertainment: Efua Black intends to use music as her gateway for her ministry

Date:

Award-winning gospel singer Efua Black has identified her musical talent as her point of contact with the prospective audience of her ministry. Franky 5 hosted the inspirational singer as a guest on This Is Gospel on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

The inspirational singer said in an interview, “The ministry is a calling, and I have no other option than to answer. Music is a fraction of the ministry. Music sells and will make things easy for the other parts of the ministry. We’re looking at extending our reach to other parts of the country with all our projects.”

Efua Black, who is currently in Accra for brand introduction to a wider market base, sees her music career as a product that could attract more attention to her growing ministry. Fortunately, if she gains prominence in the Ghanaian gospel music industry, it will drag the other aspects of her ministry along. Hence, she will be able to make some major impacts and fulfill God’s plans in her life as well as the dreams of her team.

The transition of the Twe Ben No singer from a chorister to a professional gospel act is one gross, miraculous step that she is always grateful for. This journey commenced with a prophecy in the year 2014, and God has taken her through to fulfillment. A few years after the prophetic message, she started receiving songs through revelations. This was during the lockdown period due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world by storm. Her recording sessions were quickly scheduled immediately after the lockdown restrictions were eased up, and the rest is the doing of the Lord.

She has, within the space of four years, made a huge impact in the music ministry in the Western region of the country and is presently on an agenda of widening her scope.

The four years in the professional music space after years of being a chorister at church have seen steady progress. She currently has nine songs to her credit, which includes an extended playlist. The Only God EP has three amazing songs that exhibit the God-given talent of the amazing singer.
