Benardo Silva, 29, has become a transfer target for 14-time UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid.
The Manchester City star has a £50 million buy-out clause, and with his first choice of destination, FC Barcelona, in financial struggles, their bitter rivals are now favorites to land the Portuguese.
Silva missed a penalty as Manchester City got knocked out of the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League on Wednesday after a shootout defeat to Real Madrid.
The former Monaco player admitted he struggled to sleep after his miss.
“First night I didn’t sleep much; the second night you sleep a bit better. The third night, you sleep almost the whole night, but it is what it is.”
He scored the winning goal against Chelsea on Saturday in the English FA Cup semi-finals.
