AFCON 2024: African powerhouses book tickets

Following Cameroon and Namibia’s qualification on Tuesday, the final list of participants for the 2024 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire is set.

Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, and Algeria are all continental giants that have secured their spots.

Others who are seen as underdogs, such as Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, and  Gambia have qualified as they look to shock the dominant teams.

The race for continental triumph promises to be strong with the variety of quality spread across the 24 qualifiers.
