The match between Ghana and Madagascar ended in a draw, with neither team able to secure a victory. In an attempt to find a goal, Ghana made substitutions, bringing in youngster Ernest Nuamah for Sulemana and later introducing Osman Bukari for Joseph Paintsil.
However, neither team could find the winning goal, and the match ended in a draw. Ghana will now have to wait until the final game of Group E to secure their qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations next year.
