STARI Cup Youth Tournament to kick off June 4

Date:

The maiden edition of the STARI Cup Youth Tournament comes from June 4–8, 2023, at McDan La Town Park.

The annual scouting football tournament will become one of the hottest platforms for youthful football, with the country’s finest scrabbling for places in the eight-team tournament.

The following clubs have been invited to participate in the four-day tournament: WAFA, Right to Dream, Hearts of Oak, Jek FC, Zilina Africa, Inter Allies FC, STARI Third World FC, and Kaistrom FC.

According to the ambassador of STARI, former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom, this opportunity will see more Ghanaian footballers in Europe in the near future.

“The tournament will see owners of FC Dila Gori, Avi Zioni, and Shalom Pichazde, and scouts from Maccabi Haifa will be in town to pick talents on the day,” he told MAX TV.

Dignitaries from the Ghana Football Association are expected to grace the occasion on the day.
