GPL: Nsoatreman FC beat Berekum Chelsea 2-1 at home

Date:

Three goals were scored in a thrilling match between Nsoatreman FC and Berekum Chelsea.

Nsoatreman FC won 2-1 to earn the maximum three points at the conclusion of the ninety minutes.

Both clubs started the game strongly in an effort to compete for the victory and advance in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Unfortunately for the two teams, neither side was able to register a goal in the opening period, which resulted in a scoreless draw.

Stephen Diyou’s goal gave Nsoatreman FC the lead three minutes into the second half.

Kwabena Kalala Dannful added another goal shortly after that one to double the advantage for the home squad.

After giving up two goals, Berekum Chelsea continued to play well, but the Blues were only able to score a consolation goal in the 60th minute when Mezack Afriyie equalized.

Nsoatreman FC eventually prevailed 2-1 to take all three crucial points.
